Last week, EquiLottery joined a strong list of sponsors, including title sponsor OLG, for the Canadian Millions Sales Stakes at Woodbine Racetrack in Mississauga, Ontario. The August 27th card of races included the OLG Muskoka Stakes presented by EquiLottery for 2-year-old Ontario-bred fillies. The exciting race was won by Brooklynsway with Emma-Jayne Wilson on board and trained by John Ross who’s J.R. Racing Stable also owns the horse. Congratulations to breeder HJT Racing Stable as well.
“We had a phenomenal time supporting the CTHS and their Canadian Millions Sales Stakes effort this year,” said EquiLottery President & CEO Brad Cummings. “The event was first class and everyone responsible for the evening really did their part to make for a seamless evening of entertainment. I would imagine it was successful in achieving its goal of bringing in new ownership interest. This is an event we will certainly look forward to supporting again in the future.”
The win was the filly’s first in three tries, finishing third in each of her previous efforts. The winning effort brings her career earnings to $137,537.
